Girardi szalonjában a legfelsőbb körök hölgyei vásároltak.

Towards the end of the 19th century, in the year of the millennium, this Hungarian women’s full dress was tailored for one of the events in József Giraldi’s salon in Budapest. József Giraldi, a women’s tailor started his independent business in Budapest at 1 Koronaherceg Street. In the previous 6 years he worked for Alter and Kiss. In his salon upper class women purchased their clothes. The quality of his work is marked by the fact that the coronation clothes of Queen Zita was made by József Giraldi. This piece of clothing is turquoise velvet, with silver lace ornamentation and brown fur collar. It is in Hungarian style to celebrate the millennium of Hungary. According to the habits of the 19th century, women’s riding clothes were designed for the women saddle, the length of the train and the rich ornamentation represented the elegance of the celebration. Although women did not or hardly do any sports horse riding was an exception. Horse riding was worthy for women, but only in women’s saddle. It made horse riding much more difficult because of the riding clothes and the one-sided controlling of the horse. It is not in dispute, however, that ladies looked gorgeous on event like this on a horseback, wearing their richly ornamented riding clothes.
